The inception of 'MarshLanes Pizzeria' was rooted in a modest vision: to share authentic Neapolitan pizza with Via Roma. Established by the Bianchi kin in 1985, our modest pizzeria was initially a small-scale family venture, boasting recipes cherished across generations.
Marco Bianchi, our progenitor, mastered the secrets of pizza craft on her journeys across Italy, absorbing wisdom from Naples' esteemed pizzaiolos—the forebearers of pizza. On her return to the UK, her ambition was to channel the essence of genuine Italian pizza, adhering to longstanding techniques and selecting only the choicest ingredients.
Our humble 12-seat eatery has since expanded into a local favorite, yet our promise to excellence and genuineness remains steadfast. We continue to cherish traditional wood-fired oven practices, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and seek out the top-tier ingredients available.
Presently, 'MarshLanes Pizzeria' is still within family proprietorship, with the second-line of the Bianchi lineage at the helm of our dedicated crew. Though we've adopted modern conveniences, the core of our venture is unaltered: forging delectable, authentic pizzas that convene communities.
